Welcome to the Asylum.

Se7en is a hard rock/southern metal band based out of the northern suburbs and boonies of Atlanta. Established in 1997, we began creating music while still in high school. In time, the band came to form its own identity from the foundation of our inspirations such as Metallica, Pantera, Mudvayne, Alice In Chains, Godsmack, and many others. It was many years before we began playing public shows; composing and recording our own music was our initial passion. Se7en has not once stepped foot into a "professional studio". All available recorded music was produced and recorded by the members of Se7en. This is painfully obvious in some cases.

We began playing small bars in the beginning, much as any other band does. Our "rowdy" crowds helped us to quickly move up in the ranks to local clubs and venues. From there, we continued to grow and went on to play Center Stage in Atlanta in the regional finals of a "battle of the bands".

The band had a full set list of solid songs at this point. We felt that locking ourselves into the studio we built was the next logical step. Se7en was growing in fanbase, while also maturing as a band. Putting all of our songs together in an album felt like the right way to close out one "era" so that we can move on to the next.
